Coriander seeds boiled with water can be drunk to treat cold. Its usage revolves around in the preparation of curry powders and is also used for making casseroles, soups, stews, pickles, desserts, poultry stuffing etc.

It is a very effective diuretic which helps in making the kidneys perform their excretion functions with ease. In indigenous medicines, these seeds are widely use due to antioxidant properties, as a diuretic & is traditionally known to treat diabetes.
